Junior Fundamentals Camp (8-11yrs)

Fun half-day camps! Young beginners are introduced to the game through high energy, game-based lessons that use the ½ court stage of progressive tennis model.  An emphasis is placed on inspiring a love for the game while building a strong technical foundation.

Adult Beginner (18+yrs) 

Learn tennis this summer! Enjoy summer evenings outdoors while learning basic strokes and strategy. Students will be introduced to all phases of play with an eventual progression to rally and play within the full court setting.

June 30-July 23

Adult Intermediate (18+yrs)

Take your game to the next level! An opportunity for players with some experience with the game (Adult Beginner or 2.0 – 2.5 NTRP rating) to refine their technical and tactical skills.  Through game-based learning, students will improve their ability to play within cooperative and competitive settings.

Key Information

Logistics

  • All students MUST print off our activity waiver found on our website and bring a signed copy to the FIRST class

  • Lessons take place at Robson Park (13th Ave and St. George St.)

  • Students are expected to bring their own rackets and dress in athletic attire with athletic shoes

  • Students are expected to wear sunscreen and a hat, and bring water

  • In the case of rainy or questionable weather, classes may be cancelled. The instructor will contact you. Refunds will be issued at the end of the session.
