Summer Smash Tennis

Marcus grew up in Kerrisdale and developed his love for tennis at the Summer Smash camps, being taught by Marshall, Spencer, Justin, and many other coaches that he now works alongside. He attended St. George's Senior School where he found a love for rugby, performing and visual arts. Marcus has always enjoyed playing tennis recreationally and is now super excited to undertake his first year of coaching. Marcus hopes to transfer his leadership skills from captaining Varsity Rugby and Soccer teams into his tennis coaching, while maintaining an easygoing and playful attitude. His coaching goal is to deliver the fun, social learning environment that kept him returning to the Summer Smash camps, every week of summer, for 8 years. 

 

Marcus is now in his 3rd year at Queen’s University where he studies commerce. Marcus is a big outdoor enthusiast and loves the pursuit of adventure through skiing, hiking, biking, camping and rock climbing. He unwinds through listening to music and drawing.
