
Spencer Mackoff
Director
Spencer Mackoff grew up in Vancouver and attended Lord Byng Secondary during high school. While involved in other sports, Spencer dedicated significant time to tennis during juniors and university.
Spencer began coaching when he was hired to teach programs by the Vancouver Parks Board in 2005. Since then, Spencer has coached at multiple Vancouver community centres, UBC Tennis Centre, Saint George’s Summer Camps, and Vancouver Lawn Tennis Club, prior to co-founding Summer Smash Tennis in 2012.
Spencer first developed his passion for teaching at a young age. In both athletic and academic contexts, Spencer looks to create learning environments that strive for equity and excellence.
Off the court, Spencer enjoys movies, the ocean, and cycling.
