Raul Francisquiny was born and raised in Campinas, Brazil. Sports has always been a passion of his, and he began practicing tennis when he was 4 years old.
Raul competed at a high level since he was 10 years old, being one of the top 5 players in Brazil throughout his junior career (U14, U16, U18). Raul played professional tennis on the ATP Tour for 2 years, achieving 10 ATP points, and being ranked as high as 960 in the world at the age of 19.
Raul has a Marketing Degree and worked for a year as a social media analyst for a first division soccer team in Brazil.
Off the court, Raul enjoys playing soccer, movies and nature/hiking.
