
Private & Small Group Lessons
We offer private lessons, semi-private lessons, and small group lessons for beginner and more experienced players at multiple locations in Vancouver. The maximum student to coach ratio for small group lessons is 4:1 except Beginner.

Registration takes place through the online Vancouver Recreation portal.

Adult Beginner (18+)
Learn how to play tennis in a small group setting. This course provides an introduction to the game with an eventual progression to rally and play within the full court setting.

Class Schedule:
Adult Beginner Plus+ (2.0)
Continue developing fundamentals skills in a small group setting. This course builds on technique and positioning introduced in Adult Beginner in order to become more confident rallying and playing within the full court setting. Students should have taken Adult Beginner with Summer Smash or have equivalent experience.

Class Schedule:
Adult Intermediate (2.5-3.0)
Improve consistency of groundstrokes, volleys, and serve. An opportunity for players with experience (2.5 – 3.0 NTRP rating) to refine technique while improving reception of wide, high, low, deep, and short balls. Through game-based learning, students will improve their ability to play within cooperative and competitive settings.
