Joshua Pollock
Coach
Josh grew up in Vancouver, enjoying a variety of sports as a youth, trying soccer, hockey, football and tennis. As Josh got older however he decided to focus his efforts on the sports he truly loved. Beginning in High School Josh committed fully to tennis playing on the varsity tennis team at St. Georges throughout all five years. In his senior season Josh was named captain and led his team to a bronze medal in the AAA category.
Josh also developed a love for teaching. In 2015 Josh received his coaching certification and immediately began coaching privately as well as at Camp Hatikvah and UBC. He has also been a coach for the Special Olympics since 2016, coaching curling, bocce and currently powerlifting.
Josh is currently going into his final year at Ivey Business School, and one day hopes to attend law school. Wherever Josh's career takes him he is confident that he will never lose his love for tennis or his passion for coaching.
