Fall Programs

Learn tennis indoors this fall with our team of expert coaches. We offer fall programs for children and adults. Our programs are designed to provide students with a technical foundation that will allow them to maximize their potential as recreational or competitive players. Fall programs run from September to December.

Registration takes place through the City of Vancouver's online recreation and activity registry.

Mini Fundamentals (4-5.6 yrs)

Learn tennis this fall! Prepare your child to excel at tennis and sport with lessons that focus on developing fundamental movement and proprioception. We have fun developing students’ movement, tracking, and racquet skills. An emphasis is placed on learning how to develop coordination and cooperation skills in a group setting.

 

Student Background

  • Has some or no experience in tennis

  • Beginning to develop technique for groundstrokes

 

Development Focus

  • Develop a love for tennis and sport in a positive environment

  • Develop and integrate reception and projection skills for movement and tracking 

  • Develop full-motion groundstrokes with modern technique

  • Develop cooperative and competitive rally skills

  • Still developing ability to rally consistently (10+) from service line

  • Still developing ability to rally consistently with both forehand and backhand

  • Develop a love for tennis and sport in a positive environment

  • Gain exposure to volley and serve

  • Develop cooperative and competitive rally skills
