Registration takes place through the City of Vancouver's online recreation and activity registry

Junior Fundamentals (7-12 yrs)

Young beginners are introduced to the game through high energy, game-based lessons that use the ½ court stage of the progressive tennis model. An emphasis is placed on inspiring a love for the game while building a strong technical foundation.

Junior Aces (8-12 yrs)

Build your tennis game! Start or continue to develop skills through high energy, game-based lessons that use the progressive tennis model. An emphasis is placed on building a strong technical foundation, developing strategy and point play. Beginner and intermediate levels welcome.

Mini Hitters (5-7 yrs)

Learn tennis basics in an energetic and enthusiastic environment! Prepare your child to excel at tennis and sport with our fundamental movement and tennis class. We have fun developing students’ jumping, throwing, catching, and racquet skills.

Adult Intermediate (18+yrs)

Take your game to the next level! An opportunity for players with some experience with the game (Adult Beginner or 2.0 – 2.5 NTRP rating) to refine their technical and tactical skills.  Through game-based learning, students will improve their ability to play within cooperative and competitive settings.

Key Information

Logistics

  • Lessons take place at Memorial Park West (32nd Ave and Dunbar St.)

  • Students are expected to bring their own rackets and dress in athletic attire with athletic shoes

  • Students are expected to wear sunscreen and a hat, and bring water

  • In the case of rainy or questionable weather, classes may be cancelled. The instructor will contact you. Refunds will be issued at the end of the session.

  • No class August 5th
