Ashton Wong
Coach
Ashton Wong was born and raised in Vancouver and grew up in Kerrisdale. Ashton is currently attending Vancouver College and will be going into grade 10. Ashton started playing tennis at the age of 5 years old and attended a countless number of Summer Smash Camps. Although basketball is Ashton’s first sport, he knew that tennis gave him an additional athletic spark, allowing him to develop a true love for the game.
Ashton first developed his love and passion for teaching at a very young age. Watching Spencer and Marshall coach really got him inspired and motivated him to do the same for others.
Ashton has volunteered in many basketball camps and did volunteering with Summer Smash in the past. Ashton truly enjoys coaching others and strives to be a leader on and off the court.
Outside of tennis, Ashton loves playing basketball, eating food, buying, trading, and collecting shoes, and traveling around America.
