Andrew Oh
Coach

Andrew Oh was born in Seoul, South Korea and grew up in both New Westminster and Burnaby where he attended Alpha Secondary School. In New Westminster at the age of eight, Andrew picked up tennis through summer camps and has never looked back as he has played competitively throughout his junior career and continues to do so as an athlete on the UBC Men’s Tennis Team. 

 

Andrew started coaching in Burnaby at the Burnaby Tennis Club in 2016 and then moved to the UBC Tennis Centre in 2020. He has coached a variety of levels and ages and has also provided lessons to high performance juniors within Tennis BC. 

 

Off the court, Andrew is currently entering his fifth year in the Faculty of Science as a Biology major with a minor in Kinesiology. Andrew also has a huge interest for sports in general and is a huge fan of Rafael Nadal, Lebron James and Cristiano Ronaldo

  • UBC Men’s Varsity Tennis Team 2018-2023 (Played at #3 in the lineup in 2018, and #1 from 2019-present)

  • 14+ years of tennis experience 

  • Top 20 ranking in U18 in Tennis BC

  • BSc in Biology, Minor in Kinesiology, UBC (2023)
