Aisling O'Riordan
Coach

Aisling grew up in Cork in the south of Ireland, where she attended Waterford Institute of Technology and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sport and Recreational Management. 

 

Aisling started tennis at the age of 5 and had an immediate love for the sport. By the age of 10, she was selected from her province to train in one of Ireland's largest high-performance tennis academies. From there she had the opportunity to compete in many international events including ITF and Tennis Europe. 

 

She has achieved many league titles, both as a player and captain for her home tennis club Rushbrooke.. Aisling also competed in the Munster inter-provincial Championships where she won the title with her team.

 

While attending college, Aisling began coaching for her home club where she found her passion for teaching others about the sport. After college, she remained coaching for Rushbrooke but also branched out to various other tennis clubs in the south of Ireland, where she trained individuals of all ages and abilities. 

 

Off the court, Aisling enjoys attending the gym, playing soccer and listening to music.

  • 5 years coaching experience plus international playing experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in Sport and Recreational Management 

  • Qualified special needs assistant
