We offer fall tennis programs for children and adults at multiple locations in Vancouver. Beginner and intermediate levels welcome. Fall programs run from September to December.

Since 2012, Summer Smash Tennis has provided high quality tennis programs and classes to community centres and schools across Vancouver. Our team of certified coaches have worked with thousands of students to inspire a passion for tennis and sport. Together, we share a common goal of creating safe, fun, and challenging learning environments for all students.

Our Story

Co-founders Spencer and Marshall Mackoff started Summer Smash with the goal of creating accessible programs for beginners that would allow them to develop the technical foundation needed to inspire a sustained love for the game. Distinct from other clubs or centres, Summer Smash utilizes a unique progression that scaffolds play through the development of technique. Through the use of our progression, students are given the foundation to excel as players for life.

Off the court, Spencer is an IB and BC Ministry Certified teacher with a specialization in English and Media, while Marshall is a recent graduate of UBC’s Peter A. Allard School of Law and a current associate at Alexander Holburn Beaudin + Lang LLP, focusing on Commercial Litigation. Together, the brothers infuse Summer Smash with the knowledge, expertise, and best practices that they have developed through their academic and professional careers.

"Over the last few years my children and I have had the pleasure of learning from many of the Summer Smash coaches and it’s evident that they are passionate about tennis and ensuring that their students develop a solid foundation with good fundamentals. Both the children classes and the adult classes are fun and well-planned with lots of individual feedback. I highly recommend their coaching for all levels!"
